Joy Trouvaille Update

Hi everyone,
I recently heared, that the new Excalibur die cutting machine, does not have a plate to use with the embossing folders!! You have to use sheets of card to act as a plate.
I have to tell you that the Joy has got a plate!!
See machine in my post, The Joy Trouvaille!'
I can make A4 sheets of embossed designs! Very useful for big cards. So far all the different folders I have, will go through my machine.
The other thing I like about the Joy is, it has 7" support trays on both side of the machine, that fold away when not in use. You do not have to catch the plates as they come through the machine, as they just sit on the trays.
Also, you can remove the handle, which stores away in the storage area in the top of the machine, so is very safe to transport.
I know it is not as attractive in colour, or design as the Excalibur, but it has, in my opinion some better features. As they say, 'Do not judge a book by its cover!'

Our Grand-daughter is 5 today!

Hi All,

Yes it is another 'Georgia' card, but a very special one this time, as it was for my Grand-daughter's 5th Birthday. She loves pink and even had a bright pink dress on for the family party.

I used Distress Inks to colour the image. There's a surprise!!Lol! I know I have an addiction! But I just love the soft effect you can get and it is so easy to get 'highlights' where you want them.
The watering can was stamped twice and I 3D it just to give a bit more depth.
It was funny seeing her read the words I had written inside. She only started school in September and already loves to read!

Well have a good weekend and find time to do a bit of crafting.
Thanks for visiting.

How cute is Georgia? She is one of the new stamps from Little Claire. So pretty, easy to colour and for any occassion.
I would say she is one of my favourites of the moment. Then I will have more stamps arrive from Little Claire and another will take her place!
My Grand-daughter Mia has a watering can just like Georgias', in my shed!Lol! Gosh, she is 5 years old next Thursday, how time flies by. I must be getting old!
Have a good weekend and thanks for visiting my blog.

The Wedding Of The Year Stamp Set!

Hi Everyone,
This is another card from the latest set of 'A Room With A View' stamps from Little Claire. This set also work in conjunction with the Christening set. The door and window are the same size. Very clever!

Just watched Steve from Little Claire on Create and Craft! Congratulations to the Design Team. I think the samples are the best of any shows I have seen and all so very different. I was very excited to see this card of mine, standing on the desk, with many other beautiful cards, throughout the programme. And this set went to 'Limited Stock'!
I used OHPens to colour the acetate and then stuck another piece of stamped acetate to the back of it with Glossy Accents.
I loved the Cat In The Window set of stamps, but that was one, sadly, that I did not get. The design teams' sample cards have made me now want to buy that set!!

Thank you for visiting my blog and please visit Little Claire's blog to see the rest of the Design Team's samples, they are amazing. You will love them!

A Must Have Set Of Stamps!!

Hi everyone,
This is another of my samples, using the, 'A Room With a View' collection, from Little Claire for the Create and Craft show. Another stamp set with a number of uses. Coloured with Distress inks, as I am sure you know!

You could use the front of the building as a castle, with the doors opening and a man in armour standing inside. A little boy would love it.
Also, of course a great front for a Halloween card. With bats popping out when the doors are opened!! Or even a ghost! The ideas are now flowing. My son-in-laws birthday is on Halloween and I am always looking for something different for him.Lol!!
Definately a stamp set to have in your stash!
Thanks for looking,

Little Claire on Create and Craft.

Happy New Year to everyone,

I hope you all had a brilliant Christmas and New Year. It was a pleasure to have Christmas, as we missed out the previous year.
Steve, from Little Claire, is on Create and Craft next Wednesday. This is one of the stamps he will be demonstrating, Dog in the Window.
These stamps are great fun and you can put any other 'view' in the window. The window is a separate stamp from the 'dog', so you can have anything in the window.
There are a number of stamps in this range and I will be posting them over the next few days.
Oops!!Spot the deliberate mistake!! I lit the fire when I have summer flowers in the window box! You didn't notice that did you?!Lol! I think they call that, 'poetic license'.

Thank you for visiting my blog and please leave a comment, as it puts a smile on my face!!Lol!
