Birthday Poppy

Just a quick post tonight.

I cannot understand why I have so many summer flowers,
still giving a colourful display!!  Crazy!!
Even my Acer has only just started to drop a few leaves.

This card was for a friend who is in her 90s.

She loved it and I enjoyed making it.

I have my friend, who is the Daughter-in-law of the lady
who this card was for, is coming up to stay with us
for a couple of days.
She is coming to get her highlights and haircut done!
It will be great to see her and we will have a girly day out,
on Thursday.

Thanks for popping in and thank you for leaving me such
lovely messages.
Hope you are enjoying this mild weather too.

Hugs,
Carol

Very pretty card Carol, the red is very striking against the white.
My pots are still in flower, it's the last brown bin next week so I think they'll finally have to go but I'm always sad to see the garden bare for Winter, I love summer flowers.
Enjoy your girly day

Oh sweet friend this is gorgeous! 90’years young! Happy birthday to the “young” lady! I love the elegance of your card - the red just pops against the white! I hope you are getting ready for the holidays! Xx

A great card .. .. love that poppy die very much!

I am quite behind with my commenting which means today isn't a mild day here .. .. it has started off with a BIG frost. Brrrr!!!!

Have a good day.
