Another new adventure for me!!
A bit of recycling!
The boat was a gift to me, from my friend Lorraine,
who thought I could do something with it.
I gave it a bit of a new paint job and made the pirate flag.
Then came the pirate!!
I used a Kathryn Sturrock mould but one of the most fiddly to use.
Patience is needed but well worth it, as it has great detail.
I had great fun doing it and I will take it with me
to my next Craft Fair.

WOW Carol, what a wonderful fun ship and pirate..I love the colouring of everything, love the sail and flag, brilliant project..and I'm with hubby, I do not like to be hot, but I'm in Winter over here and very comfortable..16C every day...just right.

This is incredible Carol!! The pirate is fantastic and the perfect size for the ship. We had an early ride and dog walk this morning to beat the heat. It is really cool here now, a lovely balmy breeze xx

Amazing Carol and that little pirate is so sweet. I'm sure it will be snapped up quickly. I don't like the heat I'm afraid, I try to stay indoors as much as I can and emerge outside later in the day :) x
