Hi everyone,
I am now back from my holiday. The weather was very kind to us. We were in Devon for our first week and then in Dorset for the second week. Most of the days were sunny and T-shirt weather and only one afternoon and evening of rain.
My sisters' funeral was on the middle Monday, so we only had a 3 hour drive from Bridport in Dorset to near Eastbourne. It was really hot and there were loads of people there. She had a very good send off. I still think it is surreal. I expect her to ring me all the time, as we were very close.
Waiting for me when I got home were 4 Lili of the Valley new girl stamps! I had to stamp all of them straight away! I coloured her dress with Weathered Wood Distress Ink and for the flowers and bag I used Spun Sugar.
I think I lightened the pictures too much in my photo programme! She is so sweet and I love the little dog.The picture below is much better, not so light.
For the backing text paper I just used a Creative Expressions embossing folder and coloured it with Spun Sugar Distress Ink.
The 'Carte Postale' square is from the Tim Holtz Vintage Shabby paper stash pad. They are papers that colour match to the Distress Inks. The square is Weathered Wood, the same colour I used on the scalloped circle I cut from a scrap of white paper.
The band of pink across the middle is also from the shabby paper. It is actually card not paper. There are mixed sizes of the same designs, so I don't mind cutting the smaller pieces but I don't think I will cut into the 12" by 12"!! Too painful!!
On Saturday I am doing my first Craft Market for my Charity since my holiday. As it is a new venue, I don't know how well supported it will be. I just hope the lady organiser has advertised it well. I then have my usual market on Friday 15th and on Saturday 16th I am doing the Balcombe Village Fete. I will then need another holiday!
Well back to my desk and put together another card before bed. Thanks for visiting and please come back soon.

Thank you so much for your kind words on my Blog. I am so upset about it - the past year has been nothing but setbacks and each time I think I'm picking myself up again, something else happens. Will keep watching your Blog - your cards are awesome and your colouring skills are out of this world - what's your secret!!?? Jxx
