Oldies!!

This is a set of stamps that I have had for at least
12 or 13 years!! There are 2 sets in one pack and
I have 2 packs. I think they are Woodware stamps.
They have all been used......a long time ago!!

They are coloured with Distress Inks.
Looks like the butterfly on the left has lost it's colour! That's
taking photos with the sun streaming in the window!!
Not complaining about the sun, as it does give you a lift!!
Well it does me!! And boy do we need a big bit of a lift!!

Thank you for your lovely messages on my last post.
They give me a lift too.
I cancelled my scan appointment at the hospital, which was
on Good Friday. They said they would have probably cancelled it anyway.
So still doing the drops in my nose twice a day.
Got another 4 weeks of that!!

So stay at home and keep safe in this scary time.

Big hugs,
Carol

Hi Carol! This is a lovely card with the vibrant colors and beautiful design! I love that you are using your Old Dustys! I think it's so fun to pull out the old stamps, dust them off and put them to good use! Way to go! I am sorry about your scan but it's better to be safe and shelter in - air hugs! xx

I think you are probably right, they look like Woodware to me. I love the tile effect you have achieved here Carol and the jewel colours are beautiful. Hope the sun is still shining where you are, it is glorious here. Keep well xx

Hi Carol.
I love these stamps, they were one of the early sets I bought. It's great to use older stamps and refresh them. You have inspired me to try and find my set. Maybe I'll get something done for my blog, as they are so versatile. I think they may have been Magenta, as I have another set of blocks in a very similar style. I'll let you know, if I find them!

Thanks for the inspiration as ever.

Looks like Woodware to me too. I love their stamps and love the colours you have used on here. . Scary times indeed. Trying to stay safe and well. Hubby has gone round to pharmacy attached to the surgery to pick up his life saving pills. Just about the worst place to go right now but he has to have his pills so go he must. Hugs Mrs A.

Hi Carol

A beautiful card .. .. made with beautiful stamps!! It is lovely to get the old stash out sometimes isn't it.

I love the colours you have worked with too.

All hospital appointments have been cancelled at this end .. .. even my Auntie is having a telephone appointment with her consultant tomorrow after her knee replacement. I find it very weird that a surgeon doesn't actually want to see her to physically check his work. But then we are living through very strange times at the moment.

Love Jules xx

Hi Carol

Up-date on Auntie's knee. The telephone review went well and he was surprised we had persevered and done her compression stockings for 6 weeks!! But that was what her instructions said so that was what we did!

He does want to see her in clinic though (thank goodness) just to check everything over at a later date. We will await that date when things have calmed down in the world.

Love Jules xx
