Pooh Bear Book

Sorry I haven't been around lately but life has
been a bit tough.
I am now finding it difficult to make things,
when I am not sure if we will do any Craft Fairs
before Christmas.

I have had this fabric for a while now.
I also have the same images, on a pale blue fabric,
so I made a book for a new baby boy too.

I put some wadding between a piece of card and
the fabric. Then stretched the fabric and stuck it
onto the piece of card.
Then added a some ribbon and a metal butterfly.
Then glued it to the front of the book.

The teddy bear stamp, is one of my all time favourite bears!!
He is quite big and is still on his wooden block!!

I stamped him onto Langton smooth watercolour card.
I painted him with Distress Inks.

Added some Glossy Accents onto his eyes and nose.

Thank you for stopping by my blog.
I have a few things in draft and will try to post them.

Stay safe and keep well.
Big hugs,
Carol

Things are just so uncertain at the moment aren’t they Carol? How about starting an Etsy shop to give you an outlet for all your lovely makes? A friend of mine who is an artist has one. The baby book is delightful. Keep safe!

This is adorable. Love that fabric. They are talking of craft fairs resuming soon but I have none planned for the Summer other than one at the hospital which I can’t see happening. I don’t see how you can have a craft fair with social distancing and I wouldn’t go to one as a customer. Still very cautious about where we go. You would think with all this time we would be making more but I am making less. This month I have a few cards I need to make to send so I am feeling more motivated. I have been cross stitching a lot.

Hi Carol

What fabulous projects. Love how you have added the fabric to the front of the book.

A really lovely bear image and beautifully painted too .. .. there is even a little heart LOL!!

So sorry things are tough for you at the moment. Such a shame you don't know about your craft fayres as this would give you something to focus on.

Surprising how many people in blogland have said their mojo has vanished.

Take care of yourself Carol and I will catch up with you again soon.

Love Jules xx
