Happy New Year everybody.
Thank you for all your lovely messages on my last post..
My first post, for hopefully a better year than the last one!!
I had a play with Clay for a change and tried out
this new mould.. It took a bit longer than most moulds, as
every part hat to be shaped and then left to dry out.
Quite pleased for the first one. I now no another way on how
to do it, which would make it easier than how I chose to do this one.
I have been playing with my Needle Felting. Making different animals,
Fairies and even toadstools!
I can't wait to improve my skill at it.. I know I will look back at
these makes and just laugh at them!!
Still, it is keeping me sane, during the lock down.
I think it's a case of wanting to go somewhere but you can't.
So some days, I have just sat around doing nothing, which is not me.
I was talking to a friend is Sussex and she said that she was the same.
So that made me feel a bit better.
I have promised myself, that this evening I will visit all your
blogs and leave a message.
I must try to get my head in a good place!!
Stay safe,
Big hugs,
Carol

Wow this is amazing, so lifelike. Glad you are keeping occupied. I find doing nothing impossible but don’t always feel like crafting. Having several indoor hobbies is essential. Take care x

This is amazing Carol, it looks so real! I've been a bit like you in that I don't seem to want to do much at the moment. I did manage to finish a card yesterday, but that's the first time since Christmas. Just a lack of mojo at the moment. Stay safe xx
This is gorgeous Carol, it looks so real, beautiful colours.

Hi Carol
Your flower looks amazing .. .. such realistic colours.
I love how you turn your hand to so many different crafts.
You asked if I have any weddings this year. I have two .. .. that should have happened last year but didn't and another that is going to be a "first anniversary celebration" for a couple who did a very "low key" wedding when they were allowed with a view to celebrating later. Fingers crossed they can all go ahead this year.
Hope you get your full mojo back soon Carol.
All the best for 2021.
Love Jules xx
Wow Carol I thought the lilies were real! They are fantastic. I love lilies but can’t have them in the house as Roy can’t bear the perfume and don’t like to have them in the garden as I worry that Cleo(my cat) will play with the petals and leaves as they fall off. They are very poisonous to cats. I’m sitting around here doing nothing as well since Christmas, really must get my act together.xx
Wow....wat a beautiful flowers!
Love the colors, great job Carol.
Hugs Doris
Can’t believe they are made of clay, absolutely gorgeous.
