Hi everyone, I am already addicted to Lili of the Valley's new range of stamps. They are so different from their usual stamps but a brilliant range. I first ordered just one set, then the following day ordered another 3 sets!
I actually forgot to take a photo of this project from the distance. It is actually a paper mache bag.
I stamped the backing paper all over, with an assortment of the LOTV background stamps, sets 46 and 47. I then used Distress Inks to colour the paper. Glueing it to the bag was fun! I did it in sections to make it easier.
The main image this side is from Set47. It's so useful for background or main image. I just used a light wash of Spun Sugar DI for the rose and edged it with Vintage Photo DI.
This side, the image was again from Set 47. I used Rusty Hinge DI to colour some of the larger items and edged it with Vintage Photo DI
The birdcage is a Mirror Box Die and the butterflies, are a Marianne's Creatables Die. I have also used 2 of the tags from Set 50.
The blue flower this side and the pink one on the other side I made from a strip of white paper coloured with DI, cut finely along one edge and then rolled up tightly, applying glue every few inches. The other flowers are from my collection!
The lace and the ribbon with Mother of Pearl pieces on, are from my vast stash, accumulated over many years.
I would highly recommend these stamps to everyone. Whatever style of stamping you do, you will find these stamps invaluable.
I do not work for Lili Of The Valley, or have any connections to the company, other than being a customer. I just think they are amazing value too. I like stamps that you can use all, or part of the images.
Thanks for visiting and I have had some amazing comments left. I just love reading them.
Have a good weekend. I have 2 very early mornings but hopefully worth the effort.
Hugs,
