This and That!!

Firstly, I would love to thank Julie,
who joined my blog as a follower.
I hope you enjoy what you see.

Just another quick post but lots of pictures!

I had been searching for this Woodware stamp
for ages. I found it a few weeks ago in a Craft Shop,
Noble Crafts in Great Yarmouth.
It was in a clearance box too!!

I can remember playing with this stamp
on a Demo Day at The Craft Barn.
I was in the studio with Chris Dark (an amazing artist)
over the other side of the room.

We were having great fun with the customers.
She saw this card and shouted over to me
'How on earth did you do that!!'

So this time I made 3 with different colours!
I can still hear her!!

Christmas has finally arrived here!!

It took me 41/2 hours to do all the decs.
How long does it take you!!

The little Santa on the floor, I made for my Daughter's first
Christmas. She was 45 on the 30th November!!

The tree!!

These I made separately but they go quite well together.

Well that was supposed to be a quick post!!

Thanks for popping in and I treasure all your
lovely messages.

Big hugs,
Carol

My First Blog Hop!!!

I am very excited to announce, that I have been asked
to be part of my first ever blog hop
as a Designer!!!

Sorry about the odd colours but
blogger will not let me change it!!

I was asked by a friend of mine
from The Craft Barn, where we were both Tutors.
if I would be part of her showcase, for a new collection
of fabulous stamps she has designed.

So I had to choose 2 of the stamps to use
for my cards or projects.

That was very difficult, as they are all stunning.

She was invited to be a guest artist in the
Paperbabe Stamps family and to celebrate
they are having a little blog hop...

She is the very talented artist, Chris Dark and has designed
a collection of beautiful Garden Fairies Stamps.

The Butterfly Catcher, Butterfly Emerges,
Butterfly Fairy, and Musical fairy.

They are a larger set and
each includes a beautiful sentiment.

Just to let you know, Chris still does workshops
at The Craft Barn. So check out when she is
there again in April, link HERE

Paperbabe Stamps

My first card is using
The Butterfly Fairy.

I created the background with Distress Inks
and masks.
I also coloured her with Distress Inks.
Had to add Stickles too!

Her hair is actually yellow/gold but
looks a bit green in the photo!!
Possibly the addition of Stickles.

This next card is The Musical Fairy.
I coloured her with Copics Pens.

You can see how big these stamps are, as
both of my cards are A5

I feel so lucky that Chris asked me to do this.
I am now the proud owner of these stunning stamps.

So enjoy the blog hop and good luck.
If I was you, I would comment on all of the blogs,
to get more of a chance to win all
4 sets of these beautiful stamps.
