A Jug Full Of Spring

At last, snow free!!
A heatwave coming next weekend!!

My poor Daffodils got their heads broken but at least
there were only a few in full flower.

So another Spring card to enjoy.
Painted on Watercolour card with Derwent
Watercolour pencils.
The Primroses and the laying down Daff are 3D.

We had our Vaccine done on Sunday. Didn't even feel the
needle going in!! Not even a scratch as it broke the skin!

Thank you for your messages on my last post.
All were read and appreciated.

Stay safe.
Big hugs,
Carol

Whimsy

Morning all!!
Yes another post in one week!!

And not a piece of clay anywhere!!

I couldn't resist this very cute Whimsy Fairy at the
Thetford Craft Show and she was a bargain!

I stamped her onto watercolour card and used
Distress Inks to colour her with.

Just a quick, simple design and you can't
even see the glitter on her wings!

A few dotted Nuvo Crystal Drops around her.

Thank you for taking the time to pop in and
thank you for the lovely comments you leave me.
They are all read and treasured.

Big hugs,
Carol

To The Beach!!

It's me again, here is another posting!!
I know a bit of a shock!!

I generally don't post all of my makes, as I don't want them copied.
So I finished making this last Wednesday
and took the plunge to post it.

I used two kits of boxes from Tando,
that I had to put together with a bit of glue.
Then came the job of
deciding how I was going to decorate them!
I needed to, before I glued them all together.

I wanted to make a clock in one of the bigger boxes,
which was only 10.3cm x 7cm.
The surfboard I made from a piece of Balsa wood.

The shells we collected on our Spanish holidays,
many moons ago!
The Beach Hut, was a Paper Artsy set of nautical stamps,
that I bought from The Craft Barn.

The Beach scene, I painted with Distress Inks onto
The Langton Water colour 300gsm paper.
Just added a bit of fencing, moss and boulders (beads!).

The boat in the small box, was a Hobby Art stamp set.
I stamped it twice and decoupaged the body of the boat.
The background was just done with Copics
and a bit of dusting with chalks.

The Seahorse was a free die on a magazine and the To The Beach
sign, I made from another piece of Balsa Wood
.

I then framed the whole thing with Drift Wood, that I collected
from a beach. I had to treat it before I could use it.
That process took 3 weeks to sanitise it!!

Well I hope you like it.
I don't have any craft fairs for a few weeks, so it will
have to wait to see if it will sell!

I still have a few more projects to post!!

So thanks for stopping by and to those who left a message,
on my last couple of posts, a big thank you.

Big hugs
Carol
