The Blues!!

A very quick post today!
Must get back to my desk, as I am in the middle
of clock making!!

The result of selling so much at the last Craft Event!!
Fortunately I do have quite a lot of stock.
However, I sold 2 of my clocks and I must make similar again,
as they are the popular ones.

This card I made using stamps borrowed from a
friend that is selling stamps.

I just stamped the image with a grey ink
and went over the detail with a Marvy
water colour pen.

In my stash, I found a couple of pieces of Mulberry paper,
which I have had for more years than I can say!!
I had forgotten just how soft the backing looks with it.

Right, off to my desk!
Thanks for popping in and I do treasure
the comments you leave me.

Have a lovely weekend.
Big hugs,
Carol

No Ink Line Stamping - For Annette!!

I was having an email chat with Annette at Netty's Cards
about water colour pens and using them direct onto
rubber stamps.
I said that when I started stamping many years ago,  I didn't have
any inks, just my pens.
So I had to use the pen direct method.

She then told me to 'Do It'!!
So I have Annette!!

I have used stamps that were free with the Creative Stamping
magazine, latest one.

The first image was a bird on a garden tool handle.
I just altered the shape a bit, to make a larger
garden ornament.
The Crocus as also one of the stamps.
The plant between the Crocus an the wood I just
drew with one of my pens.
The purple flowers to the right are a very old stamp.

This stamp was from the same set of stamps.
Very simple but really liked the end result.
More importantly, I really enjoyed going back to
how I started stamping.

I used my Marvy Le Plumme and Tom Bow Water Colour Pens.
They are so old that it was a bit of a struggle
to get many of them to work!!

So THANK YOU Annette for getting me to do it!!!!

Thanks for popping in and leaving your lovely messages.
You know I will always return the compliment.
That's what blogging is all about!!

Big hugs,
Carol
