Twinkle, Twinkle, At Winter Wonderland

Hi everyone, it's very warm here today (Thursday).
I went out in the garden to pull up a Dandelion and 2 hours later, I finished.
No it didn't take that long to dig it up!!
I filled a sack with plant trimmings and weeds!

Firstly I must welcome my new follower and
Hope you enjoy visiting my little corner.

Today is a new challenge at Winter Wonderland.

We are sponsored by M R Designs.

The Prize for the winner of this challenge is
a 20 Euro Voucher!

For our challenge this week, the theme is
Twinkle, Twinkle (all sparkly and bright)

The background paper I have used for my card, is from M R Designs.
They very generously sent us some papers to choose from.

My cute little girl is from Wild Rose Studio, I bought at The Craft Barn.
I used Distress Inks and Copics to colour her with.
I added Stickles to the pressies and the flower in her hair.

For the snow, I used Cosmic Shimmer, dries white glue and Iced Snow Glitter.
The tree and Santa stamps are so old, I have no idea where they came from!

You might think that it's far to early to make Christmas cards.
When I make one for the challenge,
I make a few more towards my Christmas stock.
Hopefully, I won't be making family Christmas cards on Christmas Eve!!

So get making and you could also win the amazing prize from M R Designs.

For more inspiration, hop over to Winter Wonderland blog and you will see
all the beautiful cards made by my Snowflakes teamies.

We would also like to welcome a new Snowflake to our team - Lesley.

Thanks for stopping by and also a huge thank you,
to all my lovely ladies, who left messages for my Daughter, Becky.
It was so kind of you. She has now recovered after the swim!

Big hugs,
Carol xx

Animal Magic - Crafting For All Seasons

Hi everyone,
I am absolutely knackered!!
I did a big Craft Fair on Saturday and Sunday.
About a 45 minute drive from home.
It was at a Garden Centre in Kent and opened at 9am,
so very early rising both days.

It was so busy on Saturday, they ran out of parking spaces
and the place is enormous.

I took 10 crates of stock with me and they were all jam packed!!
I came home with 5 empty ones and orders!!!

I had Grandson for the day on Monday and Granddaughter today, Tuesday.
I also did a coffee morning as well today!

I am so looking forward to a bit of a lie in on Thursday!

A new challenge at Crafting For all Seasons,
starts right now!!

The theme for this fortnight is

Animal Magic

The image I have used is called
Travel Bug
from our lovely sponsor

The prize is 3 gorgeous Digi stamps from
Pop over and have a peep at the gorgeous images you could win.

So get out your sweet animal stamps, or digis and join our challenge.

I used Distress Inks to colour my image.
The car is coloured with one of the new releases, from the DI range.
It's called Abandoned Coral.
I would love to know where these names come from!!
The sentiment is from Wild Rose Studio.
The Craft Barn now sells Wild Rose Stamps and Dies.

I will enjoy looking and commenting, on your beautiful entries.

If you would like even more inspiration, hop over to our challenge blog here
and you will see the DT's amazing cards. They are all very talented ladies.

Good luck and get crafting.
Hugs,

A New Timepiece

Hi all, hope you are having a lovely weekend.

I have been sorting out a couple of drawers in my craft room.
Probably will regret it, as I won't remember where I have moved stuff to!
Most drawers are sort of labelled!

Tomorrow, I have my Granddaughter for the day and
Tuesday I have my Grandson.
Half term holidays. So looking forward to a couple of fun days.

My Granddaughter has to make a Victorian item for school, as homework.
So we are going to make a clock like this one but with Victorian decoration.

For this one, I used a great template from House on Zandra.
It is very easy to put together.
It was for a decorative use only but I wanted to make a working one.
I had to alter parts of the middle section, to cover the clock movement.
Only because I didn't want to see them!

On the one we are making tomorrow,
I will make the cover a bit better than this one.
As I will completely change the middle section.

The Decorations on the outside are made with paper clay.

The window in the clock front has acetate in,
so you can see the decoration inside.

I used a Marianne Die for the fence and a Wild Rose Die for the
Butterfly flourishes.
The paper at the back was free from an old magazine.
The daisy flowers are from Artista paper clay, which I Bought at The Craft Barn.
The Bunny and wooden flowers are from Art Cuts.

I really enjoyed making this clock and looking forward to
doing another tomorrow.
Now I have worked out how to modify the template!

Just to update you on my EBosser. I spoke to a lovely lady at Create and Craft Customer Service.
She has arranged for it to be collected from me on Wednesday.
As the plates are sticking out the front, I had to find a suitable box to put it in.
My hubby went to a pet shop nearby, Pets At Home.
They were very helpful and unpacked
a Gerbil Hotel Cage and gave him the box!! A perfect fit!!

I am now going to do the dreaded ironing!! Not my favourite job!

Thanks for stopping by. I love visiting your blogs and
I always leave a message.

So reading your lovely comments, gives me a lift too.
It's always nice to see who has been.
It's just a shame that all visitors don't take the time to just even say Hi!
We always will return the compliment.
It's a great way to meet new crafting friends too.

Hugs,
Carol xx

Winter Wonderland New Challenge

Hi to all my blogging friends and to my new follower Dianne, welcome.

Here we are, back again with our new challenge, at

The theme for this week is
For A Child.

We are pleased to have the amazing
Pink Gem Designs, as our sponsor for this challenge.

The prize is 2 Digis.

If you don't know Pink Gem Designs......where have you been?!!!

Their images are awesome and you will be spoilt for choice.
Click here for the link to their shop, so you can drool!!!

I chose this stunning image called  Angelica.
Isn't she beautiful?!
I loved colouring her, using Distress Inks, on Langton Water Colour, 300gsm paper.

Her eyes are amazing. I added the little charm, as it is an angel.
I thought that she has the look of an angel.

The butterfly stem die, is a Wild Rose Studio die, from The Craft Barn.

Don't forget, a Christmas image is not yet needed. That starts next month.
So get those gorgeous children's images out and have a play.
You could win 2 more stunning images.

I am looking forward to seeing your lovely creations.

Just had to add this note. My EBosser has just packed up on me with plates and dies inside!! Not a happy bunny.
What is the date today!! Oh yes! Friday 13th!!!!!!

I am still making stock for my Craft Fairs. Because I sold so much a couple of weeks ago,
I have just got to where I was before that one!!
I have 3 Fairs next month, so cracking on with new projects.
I only had 2 clocks left, so a few more of those must be made
but still redesigning them in my head!!

Thanks for stopping by. Please leave me a message, even just a 'Hello'.
Then I know you have been and I can visit you too.
Hugs,

Heavy Parcels!

Hi everyone, It's so cold here in West Sussex.
I can't believe the sudden drop in temperature. Winter is here!

I made this card as a sample for The Craft Barn shop. They are now selling
the Wild Rose Studio stamps, papers pads and dies.

She is called Girl With Christmas Presents.

I am doing an all day class on the 31st January, using the stamps and dies, at The Craft Barn.

I coloured her with Distress Inks, with plenty of Stickles
on the parcels and the flower in her hair.

For the 'Fur' on her dress, I used Cosmic Shimmer White Glue,  sprinkled with a mixture, made
from white Fun Flock and Cosmic Shimmer Diamond Sprinkles.

For the snow, I just used the CS glue and glitter.

I am at a big Craft Fair in Coolings Garden Centre, in Knockholt, Kent, on Saturday and Sunday.
All the stalls, only have hand made items.

I have been working every night until 2.30 am, to get my stock replenished from the last 3 markets.
I did 3 in 8 days and at the last of the 3, they nearly cleared me out of all my big items.

I am actually going to bed now, 01.30! Having an early night, as I have a friend coming for a hair cut in the morning.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving your lovely comments.
They are all treasured.

Hugs,
Carol xx
