Create A Scene

Hi everyone,

What awful weather we are having this week. Is it ever going to stop raining?!!

We are back at Winter Wonderland with our new challenge.
The theme is:

Create A Scene

I chose to use a new stamp from Lily Of The Valley, called
Snowman Serenade.

For the scene, I used a stamp that was free on a magazine, last Christmas.

I stamped the trees using Broken China and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks.
Added Stickles onto the trees.

Copics were used to colour the snowmen and I added some Stickles too.
I used Cosmic Shimmer Iced Snow Glitter, on their fluffy hats and the 'snow'.

Our Sponsor for this challenge is

The prize is
3 Digi Images.

Check out their amazing and beautiful stamps on the link above.

So get your cards onto the Winter Wonderland Challenge blog.
We are now back with our weekly challenges.
So this one ends at 5pm on 10th September.
Remember, you have to be in it to win it!!

Whilst you are over there, have a look at the very talented DT cards.
A stunning selection and very inspiring.

Husband's birthday on Saturday. So must get on with his card today!!
Will have to be a CAS card, as I am still packing the house up!!
My birthday on Wednesday, so I have given myself the day off!!

Thanks for stopping by and I really love reading your wonderful messages.
So thank you in advance.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun......!!

Hi everyone,
Thanks for stopping by my blog and I hope you like what you see.

I love this stamp from Stamping Bella. You also get the sentiment.
I bought this one from The Craft Barn.

I am not a lover of faceless images but I do like this one.

These girls were great fun to colour with Distress Inks.
For all the stress I am getting at the moment, with trying to move house,
I think the ink should be De Stress Ink!!Lol!!

I could do with a glass of something myself...........!!

My stress levels are going to go through the roof,
when my craft room is dismantled.
Painting images has certainly calmed me down. Ugh!!!!

I have a couple more images in draft but have orders to make and a few
friends with birthdays this month. Three this week!

Thanks again for stopping by.
I love reading your comments, especially at the moment.
They take my mind off all the things going on at the moment.

So thank you for taking the time to visit.
Hugs,
Carolxx

Tick Tock......A Butterfly Clock!

Hi everyone,
Gosh it was hot today (Sunday)! Not that I am complaining,
as it has been rather chilly at night.

Just a short post today, writing that is!

This is my Butterfly Clock that I have designed and is going to be
my last class at The Craft Barn, on 21st August! Boo! Hoo!

Lots of painting and dies too.

Below is one side of the roof.

This is the other side of the roof.

There are still a couple of spaces free.
It is an all day class, with lots of fun!

The following day, Saturday, I am doing my last Craft Market here in the South.
Sunday - Sleep.......most of the day!!

For those of you that read my blog, I am sure you know I do
go to bed rather late, between 2am and 3am usually, as I am a night owl!

It is 11.45pm and I am off to bed.........I am knackered!!!!!

So thanks for popping in and let me know you've been.
Then I can pop over to you!
Good night!

Hugs
Carol xx
