My Hand Drawn Card.

Hi Everyone,

This is just a quick post, using a drawing I did a couple of months ago. I haven't drawn anything for years, but just had the urge one day!

The idea of this one, is that you could put anything in the background that they could be looking at.

I coloured my image with a mixture of Copics and Pro markers. The original was a full A4 sketch, which I reduced on my printer to fit on an A5 card.

The first picture below is a bit blurred, so I added the next one, but it's not so close.

I would love to read your comments about this card and please be honest!!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Through the Craftroom Door Challenge Blog - Anything Goes
           Papertake weekly challenge - Occasion-ally

Thanks for stopping by and please come back soon.

Hugs,

A Special Blog Award and A Birthday Card

Hi Everyone,
I was given this lovely award from Mary at maryscardworld.blogspot.co.uk . So I must say a BIG 'Thank you' to Mary. Please visit her blog too, to get loads of inspiration from her beautiful work.

I find it quite amazing that other, so talented people, can get inspiration from the things I sit and do in my craft room.

I'm sorry it has taken a few weeks to forward this on but I have had problems getting onto a couple of the blogs that I wanted to pass it on to. It was important to me that the right blogs got this award.

The Leibster Blog Award is used to show appreciation of smaller blogs (under 200 followers) and to help spread joy.

'Leibster' comes from the German word meaning 'Dearest' or 'Beloved' but can also mean 'favourite'.

As part of the tradition, the award is to be passed along to 5 other blogs that have motivated and inspired me.

The rules are as follows:

I must comment on their blog so they know about it.
I must link back to the person who gave me the award and thank them as well.
I must post the award on my blog.

So I have selected the following 5 blogs who I admire so very much. When you visit them, you will also find why I have left it a while. I just so wanted them to receive the award.

In alphabetical order:

This is my first watercolour scene birthday card I have painted for years. It's far from perfect but hopefully I will improve with a bit more practise. I made it for my Brother-in-law, as he and my sister live close to the sea.
The small white splodge in front of the hill on the right is supposed to be a sailing boat, as he loved to sail. I hope he liked it.

I enjoyed doing it, so I must find more time to play.

Please don't forget to visit the blogs above, you will love what you see.

Thank you for stopping by and leaving your lovely comments.

Hugs,
