Little Robin Redbreast!!

Hi All,
Just a quick post, as I am recovering from having
the Grandchildren yesterday!!

We went to a farm that has animals and lots of play areas for children.
They even had pony rides, which they both did.
We bumped into a friend of mine with 2 of her daughters and
her Grandchildren! It was about half an hour drive from home!

We had just ordered our hot lunch, when all the lights went out!!
They had a power cut!! Typical!!
So we had to leave and go find somewhere else to eat.

We then ended up walking on the Ashdown Forest amongst the sheep!!

This little Robin is my first attempt at 'Felting'.

The instructions were a bit vague but I had seen a lady doing it at a fair.
I was quite pleased with it and was fun to play for a change.

My second attempt was not as good and too big.
This one is about the same size as an actual Robin.

Well I am going to do a bit more crafting today.
I did a Pop-up shop in a friend's house last Wednesday.
I sold so much that I have to make replacements for my final
Christmas Fair next month!

Thanks for popping in and welcome to my new follower, Judith.
Hugs,

Jingle Bells

Hi all,

I am so looking forward to an extra hour in bed on Sunday morning!!!
I bet, just because I can, I will wake about 6am
and not be able to get back to sleep!!

I have had such a hectic week, I just need to catch up!

It's another 'Snowflake Team' week at Winter Wonderland
and I am very proud to say I am one.

So this is our Sponsor for our challenge this week.

The theme for your cards is
Jingle Bells

This is my creation using the Robin, branch and sentiment
from a set called Jingle Bells.
Supplied to us from Digi Stamp Boutique.

The winner's prize is a £10 voucher to spend in their shop.

I coloured the image with Copic Pens, from The Craft Barn, for a change.
With good old Stickles, on the bells and baubles.
For the snow, I used an American Snow Writer and
Cosmic Shimmer Iced Snow Glitter.

The background paper is from my stash.
It was one I have had for years and I think came with a magazine.

The snowflakes are assorted dies
and covered with CS Iced Snow glitter.

For more inspiration, check out the creations from my
talented Teamies on Winter Wonderland blog.
Then you have a week to join in the fun!!

THE CRAFT BARN UPDATE

Pop over to the web site of The Craft Barn for amazing news!!!!

They have moved from the shop to another location.
On-line shopping only now but at the moment

Christmas Flowers

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and a great time to do so.

Starting today, is the new Winter Wonderland weekly challenge.

The theme is:
Christmas Flowers.

Obviously for me it's Poinsettias.

My paper choice is from a Trimcraft paper pad,
I bought at Sandown Park Fair.
The Stamp at the top, is and old Little Claire stamp.
It's from when I was on their DT.

The sentiment, was from a free set of stamps with a magazine.

The charm I bought at Ally Pally Fair.

Our generous sponsor this week is Crafty Sentiments.

The winner's prize is 3 Free Digis.

Take a few minutes, click here and pop over to their shop.
You will love the amazing selection of images to choose from.

Don't forget to look at the gorgeous cards,
made by the amazing Snowflake Design Team.
I am so honoured to be part of the Winter Wonderland Team.
........................................
House move.
Thank you for all your lovely messages regarding our move.
I am now getting superstitious, about saying where we are in the
long winded process.
You will not believe what happened last week.
I will have to keep you in suspense for a week or two yet!!

Don't forget you have until 5pm next Thursday,
to enter up to three entries in the challenge.
Good luck to you all.
Hugs,
Carol S.xx
