Winter Wonderland Challenge Tribute

Hi everyone,
this is a very special Challenge, here at Winter Wonderland.

Both teams are coming together for a tribute challenge,
for the lovely lady, Eileen, who owned this challenge blog.
As you may know from a previous post, Eileen sadly passed away.
She will be truly missed by all of us and her family.

We as a team, have come together, with the lovely Helen taking the reins,
along with a few team members as a back up,
to keep Winter Wonderland challenge running.
It shows the strength of our team. Go Girls!!!!

So the theme for this challenge is
Anything goes - Christmas.

I have used a Woodware stamp I bought a couple of years ago,
at The Craft Barn. I had only used it once last Christmas.
I really enjoyed making this card and will now make a few
more with this stamp for next Christmas!

The centre tree is 3D and have coloured it with Copics.
You can also use this stamp up the other way as Baubles.

We have a brilliant Sponsor for our challenge this fortnight.
They are LC Designs.

The prize is a very generous Three Free Digis.

I know Steve who is the owner of the business along with his wife Gill.
Many years ago, he used to come to our Extravaganza weekends
at The Craft Barn, where I was a Tutor and Demonstrator.
He is now on TV on Hochanda. Next show is 20th March.
I also had the pleasure of being on his design team.

So we are looking forward to seeing your masterpieces.
You have until the 2nd March to enter.
We will leave a message on your blog so you know we have been!

Good Luck.
Hugs,
Carol

Oval not Square!

Black and white again....I know,
but I made this before the clock!!
My friend saw it half made on my desk and asked me if  I had a
clock made like the box.
So I made her one to take home!!

The flowers are the same Honey Doo stamps and had been
Triple Embossed with Utee.
The butterflies are an old Spellbinders die.

Hope you are not too bored but cards will be back next.
I am remaking old cards not sold into new ones!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and thanks for
taking the time to leave me a message.
They are the best thing about blogging!
A guaranteed smile maker.

Big hugs,

Carol

It's Time!

Another quick post!

Just to show that I have been busy!!
I had a friend here for a few days and she saw a box I was constructing.
She said she would love a clock like the box.
So I made this one for her!

She cut out the butterflies for me, using my Nestabilities dies.
So she can say she helped in the making of it!Lol!!

She didn't see it finished until this morning.
Fortunately she loved it!

The flowers I used are Honey Doo Crafts - Little Lilies and Leaves stamps.
Brilliant stamps and I have quite a few of them.
I just stamped them and then glazed them with Versamark Ink
and Ultra Thick Embossing powder. Each flower had 3 coats.
They now look more like Porcelain.

Another grey day here in Suffolk, so picture not brilliant.

My friend is on her 3 hour drive home as I am writing this.

We are waiting for a call from another friend, who
we took to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital last week.
We have to pick him up and take him home to Beccles,
hopefully this afternoon.

The hospital is enormous, so hope we can find him.
The queue to get into the hospital when we left before, was
over a mile long!!  It's takes an hour to get there,
so don't want to sit in a queue too!!

Thanks for visiting my blog and thank you for your
lovely messages you leave.
They always make me smile.

Hugs,
Carol

Flower Box

Firstly I must welcome my new followers Kelly and Ann.
I hope you enjoy what you see.

Just a quick post, as a friend from West Sussex is
on her way up to us in Suffolk. She is coming to get
her hair cut and coloured and to see us of course.
She will be staying a few days, so will not be around on
here, other than late at night.

This is a box I made for my Craft Faryes stock.
All bought flowers from Hobbycraft and the
ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons.
The butterfly was a free Die on a magazine.

The background is done with Distress Inks.

Have a lovely week.
Hugs,
Carol
