Sorry I haven't posted for a bit but I have been busy making things for a function at the Charity I support.
I don't know what your weather is like but here in West Sussex it is awful. I am so fed up with rain and darkness every day. I find it very depressing. It is awful for taking pictures. I rely on the daylight as I think I get a better result than using my spotlights. That's my moan over with. Lol!
I found this fairy topper in a drawer, with others that I had stamped and coloured and then didn't know what to do with. She is a Fairy Poppets stamp and I used Distress Inks to colour her with.
The pink background paper was just a piece of white card I coloured with Victorian Velvet distress Ink and used an Xcut Die to cut the border. The green paper was from my stash.
On her dress, head, greenery and the flowers I used Star Dust Stickles. It doesn't really show in the pictures.
I have loads of different lace in my stash. I have had it for many years, so thought I ought to start using some. So I managed to cut a little bit for the bow! The feathers I bought some time ago but as with lots of things we collect, you then don't want to use, as they are too nice!
I am sure I am not alone in doing this!
I would love to know what you have bought and are reluctant, or haven't even managed to use!!
The flower was made from a scrap of paper coloured with Victorian Velvet DI and cut out using a template.
I hope you like this one. I am so pleased I managed to use at least one topper from my box. I won't say how many I found in the box!
Thank you for stopping by and for your lovely comments. They are a brightness in these miserable dark days.Hugs,
