Traditional Christmas At Winter Wonderland

Hi everyone,

I have finally surfaced again!!

Firstly, I must thank all of you, for your kind messages on my last post.
I do not ever want to move house again!!
Super stressful!!!!!! And I have been comfort eating!!

I have held off saying anything, incase it all fell apart again.
The first couple that started the process of buying our house, and then
dropped out, have returned!!

The lady had had a couple of falls, broke a toe and
then they had family problems.
It all became too much for her to deal with, so called a halt to buying
a home. This was on doctors orders.

She is fine now and eager to move into our house.
We all agreed, we want to move as soon as the solicitors can do the legal bits!
We are hoping for the end of October at the latest!

Still keeping everthing crossed.
I am even having a stall, at a coffee morning fund raising event
for MacMillan Care today.
................................................

Now, onto my return to Winter Wonderland Challenge!
Thanks to Lynsey for covering for me.

Our theme for this week is
Traditional Christmas.

I have used a Robin Stamp, free with
Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine. Along with the papers too.
Coloured with Distress Inks. The dies were new ones I bought at Ally Pally.

He was really nice to colour and he is a proper Robin shape.

The Poinsettia dies, I bought at Sandown Park Fair.

Our generous Sponsor this week is:

Great inspiration just for you.

Hopefully, by the time you read this I might have my telephone back working!

The Blues!!

I just found this card in 'Draft'.

I had to delete most of the text,
as it was just after our first buyer pulled out,
after 3 weeks and 4 visits here!

That was my reason for having had the 'Blues'.
That's putting it mildly!!! I was (better be polite) very fed up!!

We lost another buyer a week later, so now on our 3rd buyer!!

Whoops!! Another one bites the dust!!!!
Number 3 gone, due to ill health!!

Now I am VERY P..... OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The guy who did the survey for the last buyer, a single lady,
said she was stupid not to go ahead with the purchase!

Enough said!!!
..............................................................

This is a lily of the Valley stamp again.
I wish they had a lot more of these sort of images, as they are very useful.

I coloured the image with Distress Inks, with a dot of gold,
Sakura Stardust pen in the centres of the flowers.

Also a touch or Stickles on the parcel.

Not a lot else to say really!
Rather down at the moment.
At least I have your uplifting messages to read.
So thanks in advance for stopping by.
Hugs,

Simply Gorjuss.....!

Hi everyone,

We have had a busy weekend. Firstly we finished sorting through
the last bit of the garage. Surprising what you find!!
Last winter, we were looking for the car screen covers to use on the
very cold nights - we found them today!!

I also emptied a lot of my big planters. A lot of the plants were looking a bit tired.

We still do not have a moving date but my craft room is going to be dismantled,
probably next weekend! :-(

This stamp was the first Gorjuss stamp I have actually bought!!
You know I don't really like faces without features.
Even though she is very pretty, you can't see in the photos,
but I just had to pencil, very lightly, a nose and mouth!!HeeHee!!

I coloured her with Distress Inks and the papers were from my stash.

I love her bunny too!

This will possibly be my last posting. I may try to get another one on,
but we hope to get our date by the end of the week.
Then it will be packing the rest of the house up!!
We haven't been in the loft yet!Ugh!!

One good thing, I am going to Ally Pally on Saturday 19th.
I didn't think I would get there again.
So if any of you are going, please let me know and we could meet for a chat.

Thanks for popping into my little blog corner.
Please leave me a little message, so I know you have been.
I can then visit you too.
I do love reading your messages and they always make me smile.

Hugs,

Carolxxxx

Shoe-tastic!!

Hi all,

I loved colouring this image, as I really like these stamps,
from The House of Zandra.

I made it into an easel card.
It was a commission for a friend,
whose daughter was going to be 40.

Coloured with Distress Inks of course!
The bag was from a dress stamp set from The House Of Zandra.
I haven't even stamped the dress yet.

I added some Stickles to the grapes and the decorative edge of the shoe.

More boxes to pack today! Nearly finished.
I still can't bring myself to put all my craft stuff in boxes yet!

My birthday tomorrow, so having a day off!
Not too sure what I am going to do yet.

I am out with a friend on Thursday. We are going to
A Craft Fair at Sandown Racecourse. So looking forward to that.
She is great fun, but rather upset about us moving away.
I have cut and coloured her hair for over 35 years!!

Thanks for stopping by and I really appreciate you taking
time to leave me such lovely messages.
They are helping me to keep positive, in dealing with this
stressful house move!!

Big hugs to you all.
