Little Robin Redbreast!!

Hi All,
Just a quick post, as I am recovering from having
the Grandchildren yesterday!!

We went to a farm that has animals and lots of play areas for children.
They even had pony rides, which they both did.
We bumped into a friend of mine with 2 of her daughters and
her Grandchildren! It was about half an hour drive from home!

We had just ordered our hot lunch, when all the lights went out!!
They had a power cut!! Typical!!
So we had to leave and go find somewhere else to eat.

We then ended up walking on the Ashdown Forest amongst the sheep!!

This little Robin is my first attempt at 'Felting'.

The instructions were a bit vague but I had seen a lady doing it at a fair.
I was quite pleased with it and was fun to play for a change.

My second attempt was not as good and too big.
This one is about the same size as an actual Robin.

Well I am going to do a bit more crafting today.
I did a Pop-up shop in a friend's house last Wednesday.
I sold so much that I have to make replacements for my final
Christmas Fair next month!

Thanks for popping in and welcome to my new follower, Judith.
Hugs,
Carol.xxxx

Sounds like you had a wonderful day with the children even though the power went out after ordering your lunch..that would be my luck too..I love your cute little robin and have no idea what felting is, but he looks soft and fluffy and would look so cute sitting in the bird house I attempted to make last night...as long as he has good balance as the house went a bit lop sided..so good to have some good sales..good on you Carol..[ off to google felting]

luv CHRISSYxx
