Winter Wonderland - Must Use A Sentiment

Thank goodness, the only Snowflakes around at the moment,
are the Winter Wonderland Design Teamies!!

This is our last week that you can use any season/event image.
Then it will be Christmas only projects or cards.

The theme this week is
Must Use A Sentiment.

Our Sponsor this week is

The prize for the winner this week is 3 Digis.
Pop over to see the stunning digis.

The Paper Shelter image I have used is called Hope.
I hope you like her. I think she is beautiful.
I coloured her with Distress Inks and highlighted with some Stickles.

I printed her onto Langton Watercolour  300gsm paper.
I cut her out using a Craft Too Lattice Frame Die.

The sentiment was a die I bought at Ally Pally and can't remember whose it is.

So get cracking and get your entries made.
You can enter 3 times to better your chance of winning the great prize.
I am looking forward to visiting your blogs to see your makes.
I will leave a comment too.

.................................................................

We had Marianne (from Marianne's Craftroom) and her husband visit us on Monday.
It was so nice to see her again, as it was 2 years ago at Ally Pally, where
we first met. We had an enjoyable morning and looking forward
to meeting up again. Our husbands seemed to hit it off too, which was nice.
Marianne was also rather taken with my Dollshouse I think!

We are planning to meet up with Lynsey, who used to co-run the
Winter Wonderland challenge blog soon.

It's so nice to have people around that have the same interests.
We do so love it here in Suffolk and was the best move we could have done.
Well worth the problems and stress getting here!!

We are looking forward to the Spring and Summer, being so close to the beach!
The only downfall is Seagulls!! Hundreds of them!!
I have even managed to get a poop hit me on the top of my shoe!
Rather that than on my head though!
I must admit they are nicer than the pigeons we had before and
lots of different types, to look at.

So I am now getting back to the other part of my desk.
A book box is waiting to be finished.

Thanks for stopping by and please let me know you've been.
I do so love your messages.

Hugs,

Carolxxxxx

A beautiful card Carole, I agree about the image and the die you used is gorgeous too. I'm so glad you're enjoying it in Suffolk and meeting up with crafty friends, I'm not sure whereabouts in Suffolk you are but it must be lovely to be very close to the sea. Have a lovely week. Chris x

This is gorgeous Carol - probably one of my favourite images from TPS - she is just so pretty, I coloured her in blues last year and couldn't part with her! i'm so pleased that you've settled in after your move. - and I know what you mean about seagulls, we live on the North East coast and they can be rather troublesome at times - sometimes like Hitchcocks The Birds! hugs Judith x

A pretty colour combo, love the matching bow on the side too. Your sweet image looks beautiful framed by the fancy die cut and is coloured so beautifully.

This is lovely Carol, she's perfectly framed with that gorgeous die.
I'm jealous that you are so near the coast, I'd love to be nearer to the beach, good to hear you are settled in.

Glad you're all settled in and how wonderful to be close to the beach! OoOH how I loved the beaches growing up! But seagulls .. oh boy .. they're pretty agressive yes? I've had one steal my ice cream cone before! Straight out of my hand .. midway to my mouth! Lol!!!!!!

Sending big hugs to you sweetie,
