This and That!!

Firstly, I would love to thank Julie,
who joined my blog as a follower.
I hope you enjoy what you see.

Just another quick post but lots of pictures!

I had been searching for this Woodware stamp
for ages. I found it a few weeks ago in a Craft Shop,
Noble Crafts in Great Yarmouth.
It was in a clearance box too!!

I can remember playing with this stamp
on a Demo Day at The Craft Barn.
I was in the studio with Chris Dark (an amazing artist)
over the other side of the room.

We were having great fun with the customers.
She saw this card and shouted over to me
'How on earth did you do that!!'

So this time I made 3 with different colours!
I can still hear her!!

Christmas has finally arrived here!!

It took me 41/2 hours to do all the decs.
How long does it take you!!

The little Santa on the floor, I made for my Daughter's first
Christmas. She was 45 on the 30th November!!

The tree!!

These I made separately but they go quite well together.

Well that was supposed to be a quick post!!

Thanks for popping in and I treasure all your
lovely messages.

Big hugs,
Carol

Hello Carol, well I do remember like it was yesterday! We did have a laugh and I think that's the only place I've ever been told off for being happy! :-D. Thank you for your kind words and I still love that technique on your cards, they're beautiful. Your decorations are gorgeous and it takes me half a day to do mine too. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas. Chris xxx

Beautiful cards Carol and how DID you do that?..very striking..your tree and decorations are just stunning..I'm afraid my effort took me 1/2 hour tops..only a 12 ich high tree, too small for Holly to climb and have decorated my table top with all my bits..

Luv CHRISSYxx

Oh what fabulous decorations Carol! It all looks stunning and so cosy and inviting..and you can't beat family heirlooms!Your makes will all become those I guess as they are lovely. It actually takes Alan and I a good day to put the decs up...two trees, one in the lounge (artificial) and one in the conservatory (real) and then all the other faffy bits as I call them! Worth it in the end and sad when it all comes down. I like your card..very clever and the black and white it's stunning. Isn't it great when you have a find like that! Hugs xx

Beautiful cards Carol, I love the black and white one. Your tree and decorations look fabulous. I don't do mine in one day, we have one tree up but the main one in the lounge isn't going up until Sunday. I know it's a little late but just don't seem to have had the time lately xx
